Day 8 VLCD

Today is day 8 of VLCD and I am down 10.2 pounds. In case you didn't get this from my previous blogs - I love this stuff :)

Question for anyone out there reading this - Has anyone done the short rounds or are the long rounds better? I would really like to do the short rounds if they actually work as well as the long round. I can't find anything in CC's book about the shorter rounds, but the 10 days off sounds more manageable to me than the six weeks that are suggested with the longer rounds. I am really worried about gaining weight if I am off of the injections for six full weeks. Any advice?? Help!!

Day 6 Of VLCD

Today is day 6 of my very low calorie diet and I am down exactly 9 pounds. I love this stuff!! I have had no trouble sticking to the diet - my only problem is remembering to eat. This week, I have had Yerba Mate tea for breakfast, 3.5 ounces of chicken or beef with salad and an apple for lunch and the same for dinner. I am getting a bit tired of the salad, so when I shop today, I will pick up some different vegetables. I am going to try cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes and asparagus so that things don't become monotonous. I am also still doing the Candida Yeast cleanse and the whole body cleanse and I think that it is helping.

Next week will be difficult for me because my sixth and seventh grade students will be taking that dreaded state mandated test. It is always a stressful time and we all know that when big girls get stressed, we eat. I am planning on not cheating and I feel that with the help of the hcg, I will continue to be successful.

Weight Down

Today was my third day of VLCD and I am down 4.2 pounds!!! Problems of the day - I forgot my injection this morning and I struggled all day with hunger and cravings. I know that you are thinking that it is all in my mind but I disagree because I didn't even remember that I had forgotten the injection until late this afternoon. Once I remembered the forgotten injection, everything became clear.

My meals have consisted mainly of baked chicken, organic apples, salad with organic apple cider vinegar and lots of water.

Finally Starting

For the past two days, I have been loading. Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!! So far, I have had two cups of Yerba Mate tea and I absolutely love it. No hunger so far. I have proportioned out my meat and purchased organic salad, apples and organ apple cider vinegar. I am ready to start this thing in earnest. My starting weight this morning was 216.4.
Measurements are:
Chest 46"
Waist 44"
Tummy 50"
Hips 50"
Thigh 27"
Arm 16"

Still Waiting

I am still waiting on my HCG supplies. From reading other peoples posts, I gather that many other people have received their supplies. I have syringes left from a previous round and a glass vial but no sterile water to mix it with. Any suggestions on what I could use so that I can get started?

It feels like every day lately is a load day. I find myself making extra trips through the kitchen just so that I can grab a cookie or a piece of candy. I desperately need to get started SOON!!

All Time High

Like many people who are about to embark on a life changing adventure, I have been gorging myself on all the foods that I am worried about missing. This morning, I weighed and to my dismay, my weight has reached an all time high. I am the mother of four and haven't been this heavy in any of my pregnancy's. I know that with my recent eating habits that I should not have been surprised, but those pounds have a way of quickly adding up.

On a brighter side, the state mandated test that my eighth grade students are required to pass in order to be promoted to high school is over. Now comes the nail biting wait for the results. I have always felt a little pressure to make sure that my students do well on these tests but now that they HAVE to pass, the pressure is monumental. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I e-mailed Tammy at drugdelivery.ca yesterday about the supplies to administer the HCG. The company told her that they should be shipped today and will take two to three days to arrive to us. I am hoping that they get here before the weekend. I would love to start loading on the weekend and be ready to get down to business on Monday. While waiting (impatiently), I have been doing the CandiGone for the candida yeast and a cleanse. I quit both regimens because I was worried that with my gorge fest, that they weren't doing me any good. I plan on re-starting both once my load days are complete. Does anyone know if this will have adverse effects? I think that I really need both the total body cleanse and the CandiGone but I don't want to slow down my weight loss by taking them. Any advice?

HCG Supplies Arrived!!!

My HCG arrived today. Slightly disappointed to open the package and discover that everything else that I need isn't in the package. I assume that syringes, glass vials and sterile water is being shipped separately. I hope that it arrives soon - I am ready to start. It seems like forever since we were notified of winning the challenge. It is time to get this party started :)

Disappointment

This week, I did the whole gross spit test thing and discovered that I probably do have an over growth of candida yeast. What a relief to know why I crave all those bad things and why once I start eating them, I can't stop. I visited a health food store and bought a cleanse and CandiGone. I also purchased organic, raw apple cider vinegar, organic apples and organic grapefruit. I am all ready to begin the program. Yesterday, after I left work, I received a phone call from the secretary that I had received a priority mail package. I spent all last night thinking that my supplies were here. Just imagine my disappointment when I arrived at school this morning and discovered that the anticipated package wasn't my supplies. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of HCG so that I can begin the program.
